I really enjoyed my time watching new documentaries and learning more about the world and different niche things. My favourite documentary that I watched this semester was free solo because I related to the content and could see immediate real-world relationships with climbing and fear and wanting success. I think I have a great appreciation for documentaries and that has not diminished at all but I definitely would like to take a break from watching them for a little bit. I valued the culture as I learned about and the history I learned about during this time. Going forward I would like to stick to exploring more short documentaries and learning to appreciate the value of a story and also the reality of a single perspective. I suppose life is just one long inquiry project and we have the privilege of being able to choose what we learn. I’ve learned a lot about reflecting during this semester and how that can change our understanding of our own knowledge and actions. As I continue into my life I’ve inquiry and teaching students to fall in love with inquiring about the world I hope to implement some of the strategies we’ve learned during this class.
